The Axemen, who changed air travel provider to Southwest Airlines after the great experience and service viewed during the Australia Day Challenge, have been blown away with the professionalism and fun that this airline seems to be able to merge together.

Southwest Flight Attendants always ready to help
"Every step of our travel, from the group booking agents, to the ticket counters, to the flight crews, has been nothing short of first class" said Axemen coach Spinner Howland. "I manage all the teams travel needs as well as coach and dealing directly with Southwest Airlines staff at every level really felt like they valued us as customers. Being able to e-mail and call when we had questions was a huge help. And the staff at the Jacksonville airport could not have been any better. It was a pleasure to know they where expecting us and to be recognized once we arrived each weekend."
The team admitted the biggest advantage that they got with Southwest Airlines was the ability to change the names on their group bookings up to 48 hours before travel. With the team suffering more than the usual amount of injuries early in the season, this felt more like a luxury item given the amount if times names had to be changed.

The pillows and direct flights made sleeping easy on the early ones
The players said that the counter and flight crews on Southwest also made the flights more enjoyable with their light humor and their ability to do their job professionally yet also have fun at the same time. The Axemen will be making every effort to continue the partnership with their new favorite airline.
Many of the visiting teams such has the Bucks County Sharks, the Philly Fight and the New Zealand Police team have also been convinced to use Southwest after the glowing reports from the glowing reports from the Axemen.
