In a season that seen the Jacksonville team field their first reserve grade team, host the visiting New Zealand Police, add the Axe Maiden Cheerleaders and secure their first ever home playoff game, the Axemen have finished the regular season sitting at third place on the AMNRL ladder. This is by far the highest position the Axemen have ended a season at and shows the progression of the sport of Rugby League in the North Florida City.
